A paper or paperboard including a cellulose substrate and a coating applied to each side of the paperboard substrate to form a coated structure, the coated structure having a basis weight, a caliper thickness and a Parker Print Surf smoothness, the Parker Print Surf smoothness being at most about 2 microns, the basis weight being less than about Y1 pounds per 3000 ft2, wherein Y1 is a function of the caliper thickness (X) in points and is calculated as follows: Y1 = 29.15 + 11.95X -- 0.07415X2.

L'invention porte sur un papier ou sur un carton qui comprend un substrat en cellulose et un revêtement appliqué sur chaque face du substrat en carton afin de former une structure revêtue, la structure revêtue ayant un poids de base, une épaisseur et un lissé de surface d'impression Parker, le lissé de surface d'impression Parker étant d'environ 2 micromètres au plus, le poids de base étant inférieur à environ Y1 livres pour 3 000 pieds carrés, Y1 étant une fonction de l'épaisseur (X) en points et étant calculé comme suit : Y1 = 29,15 + 11,95X 0,07415X2.
