Plastic articles with low emission obtainable by polymerization, condensation, and/or cross-linking reaction including the use of metal catalysts wherein said metal catalyst has a low emissivity and is an organotin compound of the general formula R2SnX2 wherein R is a C1-C8-hydrocarbyl, X is a carboxylate group with 14-20 carbon atoms having at least one olefinic double bond. Moreover, the invention relates to the use of an organotin compound in the manufacture of plastic articles with low emissivity of said organotin compound.

L'invention concerne des articles en plastique à faible émission, qu'il est possible d'obtenir par polymérisation, condensation et/ou réaction de réticulation avec utilisation de catalyseur métallique, ce catalyseur métallique possédant une faible émissivité et étant constitué d'un composé d'organo-étain de formule générale R¿2?SnX¿2? dans laquelle R représente un groupe C¿1?-C¿8?-hydrocarbyle, X représente un groupe carboxylate de 14-20 atomes de carbone contenant au mois une double liaison éthylénique. Elle concerne aussi l'utilisation d'un composé organo-étain dans la fabrication d'articles en plastique avec faible émissivité du composé organo-étain.
