The present invention generally relates to low foaming and/or defoaming cleaning formulations which, comprises a synergistic combination of one or more hydrotropic alkoxylated quaternary ammonium compounds and at least one nonionic surfactant based on branched alcohols. The nonionic surfactant may be selected from structures having 3 to 12 moles of ethoxylation, but preferably have an average of 3-6 moles of ethoxylation with either narrow or broad range distribution.

La présente invention concerne de manière générale des formulations de nettoyage antimousses ou peu moussantes comportant une combinaison synergyque d'un ou plusieurs composés d'ammonium quaternaire alcoxylés hydrotropes et d'au moins un tensioactif non ionique à base d'alcools ramifiés. Le tensioactif non ionique peut être sélectionné parmi des structures comportant 3 à 12 moles issues d'une éthoxylation et de préférence une moyenne de 3 à 6 moles issues d'une éthoxylation à distribution étroite ou large.
