ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The apparatus according to the invention relates to a low frequency sound generator especially suited for use with infrasound grills or other infrasound supported combustion. A housing in the shape of a front plate, a rear cover plate and a sweep, which connects the two plates, is connected to the grill via a flange. By means of an electro magnet, a reciprocating movement is generated in a diaphragm located inside the housing, and said reciprocating movement generates air pulses of a certain low frequency which propagate from the diaphragm through the flange and into the combustion fire place.
