A silicon elastomer compatible constant velocity joint grease comprises a urea grease composed of a lubricating oil and a urea thickener and an effective amount of a friction reducing additive package comprising vermiculite, molybdenum oxysulfide dithiocarbamate, polyphenylene sulfide and potassium triborate. The additive package solids have particle sizes below about 40 microns.

L'invention concerne une graisse pour joints homocinétiques compatible avec l'élastomère silicone, consistant en une graisse à base d'urée composée d'une huile lubrifiante et d'un épaississant à base d'urée, et une quantité efficace d'une préformulation d'additifs permettant la réduction du frottement, parmi lesquels, la vermiculite, le dithiocarbamate oxysulfide de molybdène, le polyphénylène sulfide et le triborate de potassium.
