Low-fusing temperature porcelain compositions, methods of use therof on metal or ceramic substrates to form dental prostheses and kits therefor. Compositions of the invention have a fusing temperature of less than 800°C and a coefficient of thermal expansion compatible with a substrate of metal or ceramic. Each composition includes, in weight percent of the composition, from 40 to 65 percent by weight SiO2, from 6 to 12 percent by weight Al2O3, from 6 to 12 percent by weight Na2O, from 5.5 to 10.50 percent by weight K2O, from 1 to 3 percent by weight Li2O, from 0.8 to 2.5 percent by weight CaO, from 0.8 to 4.0 percent by weight B2O3 and from 0.1 to 0.8 percent by weight CeO2.

L'invention porte sur des compositions à base de porcelaine à basse température de fusion, sur leur utilisation sur des substrats métallique ou céramique, aux fins de la création de prothèses dentaires, ainsi que sur des nécessaires utilisables à cet effet. Les compositions selon l'invention ont une température de fusion inférieure à 800 DEG C et un coefficient de dilatation thermique compatible avec celui d'un substrat métallique ou céramique. Chaque composition comporte, par rapport au pourcentage pondéral de la composition, de 40 à 65 % en pourcentage pondéral de SiO2, de 6 à 12 % en pourcentage pondéral de Al2O3, de 6 à 12 % en pourcentage pondéral de Na2O, de 5,5 à 10,50 % en pourcentage pondéral de K2O, de 1 à 3 % en pourcentage pondéral de Li2O, de 0,8 à 2,5 % en pourcentage pondéral de CaO, de 0,8 à 4,0 % en pourcentage pondéral de B2O3 et de 0,1 à 0,8 % en pourcentage pondéral de CeO2.
