ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved non-irritating detergent composi- tion is disclosed. The composition has a high viscosity and good foaming properties. The composition is a mixture of (1) an amphoteric surfactant combined with an anionic surfactant and (2) a nonionic surfactant which is a 16-18 carbon atom fatty acid monoester of an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol reacted with 60 to 100 moles of ethylene oxide.
