ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Thermoplastic moulding compositions stabilised against thermolytic degradation and having small resi- (or ?-methyl styrene) and rubbers, containing from 0.01 to 20%, by weight, (based on the total weight), of compounds of formula: X(SY)n wherein X represents an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal ion, an organic monomeric or oligomeric aliphatic, araliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic radical containing from 1 to 18 C-atoms per SY; S represents divalent sulphur; Y represents H or an ammonium ion: Image wherein R1 to R3, which may be the same or different, repre- sent aliphatic or alkaromatic radicals containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms; and n represents a number of from 1 to 20.
