A low-noise leak-proof flush valve for a toilet tank, to be connected to a manually operable flush lever mechanism, comprising: a flush tube securely coupled to a discharge opening of the tank; a hollow cap covering the flush tube, including a main cylinder housing coupled at the lower end of the flush tube near the bottom wall of the tank but separated therefrom, and a secondary housing having a less diameter that the main housing, centrally coupled to the top of the main housing in a fluid communication therewith; and piston means slide coupled to said flush tube in said main cylinder housing, which is operable by the flush lever mechanism to lift the water contained in the cylinder housing to the top of the flush tube and through said secondary housing, crating a siphon effect allowing discharging water from the toilet tank, through said flush conduit.
