A B S T R A C T A male contact having a pair of resilient contact arms separated by an open ended slot, the arms having first portions which diverge towards free ends of the arms, remote sides of the free ends providing contact surfaces, both contact arms having second portions which converge towards each other as they extend from root ends of the respective arms towards the first portions. The contact is receivable in a female contact at one angle with zero or low insertion force and rotatable to flex the arms together to provide good contact pressure.
