A laminated substrate or base structure comprising separately formed layers with warp knitted or stitch bonded yarns (4) joining the layers together wherein at least one of the layers is a reinforcing layer (2) and at least one of the layers (3) is for inhibiting resin flow through the substrate. A method for forming the substrate or base structure into a coated papermaker's process belt product is also described.
L'invention concerne un support stratifié ou une structure de base stratifiée comprenant des couches formées séparément et assemblées par des fils tricotés en chaîne ou par des coutures (4), au moins une des couches étant renforcée (2) et l'autre couche (3) servant à inhiber l'écoulement de résine à travers le support.
