The present invention relates to leave on oil-in-water, skin care compositions, comprising: (A) from about 0.05 % to about 20 % of an acidic active ingredient, preferably having a solubility parameter from about 6 to about 12; (13) from about 0.1 % to about 25 % of alkoxylated alcohols alkoxylated polyols, and mixtures thereof, (C) from about 1 % to about 20 % of an acid stable, hydrophobic structuring agent selected from the group consisting of saturated C16 to C30 fatty alcohols, saturated C16 to C30 fatty alcohols containing from about 1 to about 5 moles of ethylene oxide, saturated C16 to C30 diols, saturated C16 to C30 monoglycerol ethers, saturated C16 to C30 hydroxy fatty acids, and mixtures thereof, having a melting point of at least about 45 °C; (D) from about 0.05 % to about 10 % of an acid stable, hydrophilic surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic, cationic, zwitterionic, nonionic surfactant, and mixtures thereof; and (F) from about 25 % to about 99.7 % water; wherein the pH of the composition is about 3.5 or less. These cosmetic compositions provide improved physical and chemical stability, while providing good skin deposition and good skin penetration of the active ingredients, while also providing low dermal irritation.
L'invention concerne des compositions huileuses (huile dans eau) de soin de l'épiderme comprenant: (A) de 0, 05 % à 20 % environ d'un ingrédient actif acide possédant, de préférence, un paramètre de solubilité de 6 à 12 environ; (B) de 0, 1 % à 25 % environ d'alcools alcoxylés, de polyols alcoxylés et de leurs mélanges; (C) de 1 % à 20 % environ d'un agent structurant, hydrophobe, stable à l'acide, sélectionné à partir du groupe constitué par des alcools gras saturés C16 à C30, des alcools gras saturés C16 à C30 contenant de 1 à 5 moles environ d'oxyde d'éthylène, des diols saturés C16 à C30, des éthers de monoglycérol saturés C16 à C30, des acides gras hydroxy saturés C16 à C30 et par leurs mélanges, dont le point de fusion est d'au moins 45 DEG C; (D) de 0, 05 % à 10 % environ d'un tensioactif hydrophile, stable à l'acide, sélectionné à partir du groupe constitué par des tensioactifs anioniques, cationiques, zwitterioniques, non ioniques et par leurs mélanges; (F) de 25 % à 99,7 % environ d'eau; le pH de la composition est égal ou inférieur à 3,5. Ces compositions cosmétiques possèdent une stabilité physique et chimique améliorée, tout en assurant le dépôt et la pénétration corrects des ingrédients actifs et en minimisant l'irritation dermique.
