An interference signal code power (ISCP) measurement is estimated in a time division multiple access/code division multiple access communication system. Signals transmitted in a particular time slot are received. A power level of the transmitted received signals of the particular time slot is measured. An association of ISCP values with measured power levels is provided. The measured power level is used to estimate an ISCP value. The estimated ISCP value is associated with that measured power level.

Selon cette invention, une mesure de la puissance d'un code de signal d'interférence (ISCP) est évaluée dans un système de communication à accès multiple à division de code/à accès multiple à division temporelle. Des signaux transmis dans un intervalle de temps spécifique sont reçus. Un niveau de puissance des signaux reçus transmis de l'intervalle de temps spécifique est mesuré. Cette invention concerne aussi une association des valeurs de l'ISCP avec des niveaux de puissance mesurés. Ce niveau de puissance mesuré est utilisé pour évaluer une valeur de l'ISCP. La valeur de l'ISCP évaluée est liée au niveau de puissance mesuré.
