ABSTRACT The present invention provides a low pressure die casting mold releasing agent made of a mixture of a mold releasing base material, composed of an inorganic compound, and an organic compound, in which at least the mold releasing base material is in the form of granules or a powder. The mold releasing agent allows castings of high quality to be formed by a low pressure die casting operation, with good workability and without adversely affecting the environment.
