A disposable absorbent article contains a liquid pervious topsheet, having a basis weight ranging from 10 to 40 g/yd and comprising a body with at least the upper portion thereof comprising nonwoven fabric prepared by forming a web comprising a homogeneous admixture of from 1 to 50 % by weight of melt blown fibers and from 99 to 50 % by weight of 1.2 to 5 denier staple synthetic fibers and hydroentangling the fibers to form a fabric, with or without the formation of apertures.

Un article absorbant jetable comporte un voile supérieur de grammage compris entre 10 et 40 g/yd?2¿, perméable au liquide, et un corps. La partie supérieure au moins de ce corps se compose de non-tissé obtenu en plusieurs étapes: fabrication d'une nappe intégrant un mélange homogène de 1 à 50 % en poids de fibres obtenues selon le procédé "melt-blown" et de 99 à 50 % en poids de fibres synthétiques coupées de 1,2 à 5 deniers; enchevêtrement des fibres sous l'effet de l'eau, de façon à former un tissu, avec ou sans formation d'ouvertures.
