A hard surface cleaning composition for removing cooked-, baked- or burnt-on soils from cookware and tableware, the composition comprising an organoamine solvent and wherein the composition has a liquid surface tension of less than about 24.5 mN/m and a pH, as measured in a 10 % solution in distilled water, or least than 10.5. The composition can be used as pre-treatment prior to the dishwashing process. The composition provides excellent removal of polymerised grease from metal and glass substrates.

Cette invention concerne une composition de nettoyage pour surfaces dures capables d'éliminer sur des ustensiles de cuisson et des pièces de vaisselle des salissures provoquées par des denrées alimentaires brûlées, calcinées, etc. La composition se caractérise par une tension superficielle inférieure à environ 24,5 mN/m et par un pH, mesuré dans une solution à 10 % dans de l'eau distillée, d'au moins 10,5. Cette composition peut être utilisée en pré-traitement avant nettoyage au lave-vaisselle. Elle convient particulièrement bien pour l'élimination de graisse polymérisée sur des substrats en métal et en verre.
