ABSTRACT Graft copolymer dispersions of improved viscosity and superior particle size distribution are prepared by the in situ polymerization of vinyl monomers in unsaturation- containing polyols in the presence of a free-radical catalyst and certain chain transferring agents at temper- atures below 100°C. The dispersions are low viscous liquid which may be advantageously employed in the prepara- tion of polyurethanes.
