Ellison ABSTRACT A plasticizer is disclosed which comprises di-tertiary- octyl-diphenyloxide possessing a viscosity in the range of from about 1000 to 2100 centistokes. The plasticizer of the present invention is advantageously employed in film-forming cellulosic derivatives such as ethylcellulose which may be molded by extrusion. A method of synthesizing the plasticizer is also disclosed.
