A method for the preparation of low viscosity unsaturated polyester resins is disclosed where in a first step a polyester resin is prepared from a dicarboxylic acid, its corresponding anhydride or mixtures thereof and polyhydric alcohol. In a second step the polyester resin is reacted with a saturated monohydric alcohol.

La présente invention a trait à un procédé pour la préparation de résines de polyester insaturés de faible viscosité où dans une première étape une résine polyester est préparé à partir d'un acide carboxylique, son anhydride correspondant ou des mélanges de celui-ci avec des alcools polyhydriques. Dans une deuxième étape la résine polyester est réagi avec un alcool monohydrique saturé.
