A method and apparatus for determining a coagulation property of a sample of fluid, the method comprising causing oscillation of at least one magnet (10), wherein said oscillation comprises: a first oscillation within a first frequency range for a first period of time; and a second oscillation within a second frequency range different to said first frequency range for a second period of time.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil servant à déterminer une propriété de coagulation d'un prélèvement de liquide. Le procédé consiste à induire un mouvement oscillatoire d'au moins un aimant (10), qui se décompose en: une première oscillation intervenant dans une première gamme de fréquence pendant un premier laps de temps; et une seconde oscillation intervenant dans une seconde gamme de fréquence différente de la première gamme de fréquence pendant un second laps de temps.
