ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A low wax high wood content fireplace log, in turn, comprising a quantity of loose densified waste wood products, in proportions of, between about 1:5 and 1:10, in volume as compared with the volume of wood products prior to densification, a quantity of hydrocarbon wax binder compounds, which contact the exterior of the loose densified wood products without penetrating them, and in which the quantity of densified wood products and the quantity of wax products are in a proportion of between about 60:40 and 80:20 by weight.
