The LPWH tool is a barrier penetrating and fire extinguishing apparatus designed to be inserted into exterior chambers of a burning structure. It has the added ability to as well penetrate through interior walls to reach interior chambers such as hallways. The apparatus consists of a long metal tubular body with metalpenetrating tip at one end and a simple connection to standard fire hose at the other. The main length of the tubular body is perforated with hundreds of small openings arranged to produce non-intersecting streams of water or other extinguishing agent. These streams are emitted predominantly at right angles to the main body and thus the forward reach to fire zones within a structure is through the tool itself. As well, emission patterns are as such to eliminate rearward urging on the tool while in use. Various hole patterns for the aforementioned tool are disclosed, all with ability to maintain the tool's water emitting portions in place without manual attention thereto.
