A process for producing Tube oil basestocks wherein a wax containing Tube oil boiling range feedstream is converted into a basestock suitable for use in motor oil applications by contacting it with a hydrodewaxing catalyst containing a medium pore molecular sieve having deposited thereon an active metal oxide and at least one hydrogenation metal selected from the Group VIII and Group VIB metals.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'huiles de base lubrifiantes dans lesquelles une cire qui contient une charge présentant la même plage d'ébullition que l'huile lubrifiante est convertie en une huile de base destinée à être utilisée dans des applications d'huiles pour moteurs par mise en contact de cette huile avec un catalyseur d'hydrodéparaffinage contenant un tamis moléculaire à pores moyens sur lequel est déposé un oxyde métallique actif et au moins un métal d'hydrogénation choisi dans les Groupe VIII et VIB de métaux.
