ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE . Lubricant compositions for internal combustion engines are provided containing dispersant additives which prevent sludge and varnish formation in the crankcase. The additives are oil-soluble poly(oxyalkylene) aminocarbamates comprising a hydrocarbyl-terminated poly(oxyalkylene) chain of 2-5 carbon oxyalkylene units.
