A method for lubricating a manual transmission or automated manual transmission apparatus having metallic synchronizers which comprises supplying to said transmission a lubricating composition comprising a major amount of an oil of lubricating viscosity containing effective amounts of two ZDDP's, a thiadiazole corrosion inhibitor, a fatty acid primary amide and at least one each of a supplemental anti-wear agent, a dispersant, an antioxidant and a metal detergent.
Méthode de lubrification d'une boîte de vitesses manuelles ou un dispositif de boîte de vitesses manuelle automatisée, qui sont muni de synchroniseurs qui envoie à ladite boîte de vitesses une composition comprenant une grande quantité d'huile lubrifiante contenant une quantité effective de deux additifs ZDDP T, un agent inhibiteur de corrosion à base de thiadiazole, un amide primaire d'acide gras et au moins un des additifs suivants : un agent antiusure, un dispersant, un antioxydant et un détergent pour métaux.
