A lubricant pump (82) of the gerotor type is mounted concentrically over the output shaft (24) of the leading axle (76) in a tandem drive axle arrangement having in inter-axle power dividing differential (36). The outer rotor (88) of the pump (82) is connected by an annular drive band (120) to the differential carrier (38) to assure full time pump operation. Passages (114,134) are provided for flow through an externally mounted filter.
