The present invention relates to an electrical connector including a non-conductive housing and a plurality of electrically conductive contact pin assemblies arranged in the housing. Each contact pin assembly comprises an electrically conductive pin and an electrically conductive contact in electrical contact with said pin. The contact is coated with a lubricant film. The method for coating the contacts with the lubricant film includes injecting a lubricant mixture onto the contacts so that lubricant is applied only to the contacts and evaporating any excess.

Cette invention concerne un connecteur électrique comportant un logement non conducteur et, placés dans ce logement, un certain nombre d'ensembles de broches de contact conductrices. Chaque ensemble de broche de contact est constitué d'une broche conductrice et d'un contact qui lui est relié. Le contact est enduit d'un film lubrifiant selon une méthode consistant notamment à injecter un mélange de lubrifiant sur les contacts de telle façon que le lubrifiant ne recouvre que les contacts, en faisant évaporer tout excès de lubrifiant.
