The invention provides a lubricating composition comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity and an amine-function-alised additive, wherein the amine-functionalised additive is derived from an amine having at least 3 aromatic groups, at least one -NH2 functional group, and at least 2 secondary or tertiary amino groups. The invention further provides for the additive to have dispersant and/or dispersant viscosity modifying properties. The lubricating composition is suitable for lubricating an internal combustion engine.
Linvention porte sur une composition lubrifiante qui comporte une huile de viscosité lubrifiante et un additif à fonctionnalité amine, l'additif à fonctionnalité amine étant issu d'une amine ayant au moins 3 groupes aromatiques, au moins un groupe fonctionnel NH2 et au moins 2 groupes amino secondaires ou tertiaires. L'invention concerne également l'additif qui présente des propriétés dispersantes ou des propriétés dispersantes avec modification de la viscosité. La composition lubrifiante est appropriée pour lubrifier un moteur à combustion interne.
