A lubricating composition comprises: (a) a base oil; (b) an acid ester of phosphoric acid of formula (I), where R1 is a monovalent organic group containing from 3 to 30 carbon atoms and R2 is hydrogen or a monovalent organic group containing from 3 to 30 carbon atoms and (c) a phosphonate ester of formula (II), where R3 and R4 are independently monovalent organic groups containing from 1 to 10 carbon atoms and R5 is a monovalent organic group containing from 4 to 30, preferably 10 to 24 carbon atoms, the amounts of (b) and (c) being sufficient to improve the frictional properties.

L'invention porte sur une composition lubrifiante comportant: (a) une huile base; (b) un ester d'acide phosphorique de formule (I) dans laquelle R¿1? est un groupe organique monovalent contenant de 3 à 30 atomes de carbone et R¿2? est hydrogène ou un groupe organique monovalent contenant de 3 à 30 atomes de carbone; et (c) un ester d'acide phosphonique de formule (II) dans laquelle R¿3? et R¿4? sont indépendamment des groupes organiques monovalents contenant de 1 à 10 atomes de carbone et R¿5? est un groupe organique monovalent contenant de 4 à 30 (et de préférence de 10 à 24) atomes de carbone, les quantités de (b) et de (c) étant suffisantes pour améliorer les propriétés tribologiques.
