Abstract of the Disclosure Lubricating oil dispersancy is synergistically improved by use of a combination of (a) a boronated hydrocarbon-substituted succinic amide/ imide/ester of an oxyalkalated amine and (b) a Mannich condensation product of a hydrocarbon-substituted phenol, formaldehyde, and amine, and optionally, a fatty acid and or a boronating agent.
