A conveyor lubricating device (10) for providing lubrication to a drive chain (22) of a trolley (14) which travels along a track (20) of a conveyor system. The lubricating device is positionable adjacent to an arcuate section (30) of the track (20) between horizontal sections of track which are at differing heights. The lubricating device provides lubricant to the chain (22) as they are in their most opened orientation as the chain bends along the curve. The lubricating device is useful for lubricating chains of a conveyor system having an I-beam track, a conveyor system having an enclosed track (with the chains being movable within the track) or any other chain driven material handling system having track sections at differing heights.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de lubrification (10) pour transporteur, destiné à lubrifier la chaîne de transmission (22) d'une voie (14) qui se déplace le long du câble porteur (20) d'un système transporteur. Ce dispositif de lubrification, qui peut être placé à proximité de la partie arrondie (30) dudit câble porteur (20), entre des parties horizontales de ce câble situées à différentes hauteurs, apporte un lubrifiant à la chaîne (22) au moment où celle-ci se courbe le long de ladite partie arrondie, ce qui permet une lubrification optimale des articulations de cette chaîne lorsque ceux-ci se trouvent dans leur position la plus ouverte, à savoir lorsque ladite chaîne suit l'arrondi de la courbe. Ce dispositif de lubrification sert par ailleurs à lubrifier les chaînes de systèmes transporteurs pourvus d'un câble porteur sous forme de poutre en I, d'un câble porteur intégré (à l'intérieur duquel les chaînes peuvent se déplacer), ou de tout autre système de manutention à chaîne de transmission dont le câble porteur présente des parties situées à différentes hauteurs.
