A lubricating oil composition prepared by blending a lube base oil with a molybdenum oxysulfide dithiocarbamate with a specified structure, zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate, sulfur compounds, metallic detergents, and boron compounds. The content of molybdenum originating in the dithiocarbamate, that of phosphorus originating in the dithiophosphate, that of the sulfur originating in the sulfur compounds, that of the detergent, and that of the boron originating in the boron compounds are 200-2,000 ppm, 0.02-0.15 wt.%, 0.02- 0.30 wt.%, 1-10 wt.%, and 0.005-0.06 wt.%, respectively, based on the whole composition. The composition is excellent in oxidation resistance, does not undergo deterioration caused by nitrogen oxide gases, and can retain the effect of lowering the friction of engines for long.
On prépare cette composition d'huile lubrifiante en mélangeant une huile de base lubrifiante avec un dithiocarbamate d'oxysulfure de molybdène à structure spécifique, un dithiophosphate de dialkyle de zinc, des composés soufrés, des détergents métalliques et des composés de bore. La teneur en molybdène provenant du dithiocarbamate, celle du phosphore provenant du dithiophosphate, celle du soufre des composés soufrés, celle des détergents et celle du bore, provenant des composés en contenant, sont respectivement de 200-2000 ppm, 0,02-0,15 % en poids, 0,02-0,30 % en poids, 1-10 % en poids et 0,005-0,06 % en poids de la composition d'ensemble. Celle-ci présente une excellente résistance à l'oxydation, n'est pas dégradée par des gaz contenant de l'oxyde d'azote et garde longtemps sa capacité à réduire les frictions dans les moteurs.
