ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to lubrication of a refrigeration system wherein the lubricant comes into direct contact with the refrigerant and particularly such type systems employing a screw compressor utilizing a halogenated alkane refrigerant and a lubricant con- stituting a hydrogenated polyalkylene, the alkylene monomeric units of which contain between about 6 and about 12 carbon atoms.
