A lubricant coating vehicle for medical devices used to reduce the coefficient of friction of such devices upon exposure thereof to moisture. The lubricant coating vehicle allows the introduction of a pharmacological additive having a release rate that is within acceptable pharmacokinetic criteria. The release rate is adjusted by utilizing different salt forms of the additive and adjusting the concentration of urethane pre-polymer.
Cette invention concerne un véhicule de revêtement lubrifiant pour dispositifs médicaux utilisé afin de réduire le coefficient de friction de tels dispositifs lorsque ces derniers sont exposés à un certain degré d'humidité. Ce véhicule de revêtement lubrifiant permet l'introduction d'un adjuvant pharmaceutique présentant un taux de libération correspondant à des critères pharmacocinétiques acceptables. Ce taux de libération est ajusté au moyen de l'utilisation de différentes formes de sel de l'adjuvant et de l'ajustement de la concentration de prépolymère de type uréthane.
