LUG BEAD HOSE Abstract of the Disclosure An improved hose having a reinforced elastomeric structure built over rigid steel bead rings at the terminal end comprises a plurality of lugs attached to the bead ring at spaced locations around the ring on a tapered outward facing surface of the ring such that loading on the flanged end of the hose may be transferred directly to the bead.
