This invention relates to an article for use with a laptop computing device protects the device during periods of non-use, including transport, while stabilizing the device when positioned on a user's lap. The article provides a base panel (213) having front, rear and two side sections (218, 219), a lower surface adapted to rest on a user's lap, and an upper surface to receive the bottom surface of the laptop device.
L'invention concerne un article destiné à un dispositif informatique portatif, qui protège le dispositif au cours de périodes de non-utilisation, notamment de transport, tout en permettant de stabiliser le dispositif lorsque celui-ci est placé sur les genoux d'un utilisateur. L'article comporte un panneau de base (213) doté de parties antérieure, postérieure et de deux parties latérales (218, 219), d'une surface inférieure conçue pour reposer sur les genoux d'un utilisateur, et d'une surface supérieure destinée à recevoir la surface inférieure du dispositif informatique portable.
