The luminaire has a molded reflector body (1) comprising a reflective coating (3) with light reflective particles (10) and a binder (11) and having a substrate side (12) and an outer surface (13). The coating (3) has a smooth optical waveguiding surface due to the absence of particles (10) at its outer surface (13) and to the light-transmission properties of the binder (11). Owing to these properties, the coating (3) has a high degree of specular reflection, thereby both increasing the lumen output ratio and improving the light directional properties of the luminaire.

L'invention concerne un luminaire possédant un corps de réflecteur moulé (1) recouvert d'un revêtement réfléchissant (3) doté de particules réfléchissant la lumière (10) et d'un liant (11) et possédant un côté substrat (12) et aussi une surface externe (13). Le revêtement (3) possède une surface de guide d'ondes optique lisse grâce à l'absence de particules (10) sur sa surface externe (13) et aux propriétés de transmission lumineuse du liant (11). Du fait de la présence de ces deux propriétés, le revêtement (3) présente un degré élevé de réflexion spéculaire, ainsi ces deux facteurs accroissent le taux de production de lumière et améliorent les propriétés directionnelles lumineuses du luminaire.
