LUMINAIRE OPTICAL SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An optical system for a luminaire, such as an outdoor floodlight, is provided by an assembly of reflectors. The main reflector assembly has a simply curved preformed back component and a pair of side components that are formed in the desired shape by forcing them into place between appropriate holding members in the luminaire housing. Top and bottom reflector components may be added to provide improved optical efficiency, improved appear- ance and separation thermally, mechanically and electrically between the optical chamber and other portions of the luminaire. All reflector components may be made of thin gauge prefinished reflector stock.
