Such screens can be ex- posed to radiation of a larger energy than was usual so far in phosphos screens. In addition the resolving power is very large since no particles with limited dimensions are present. Such screens may be used as n moving or stationary very bright light source or for displaying very bright pictures suitable for projection on a projection screen. - 17 -
