This lump shaper comprises a lump flattening station (20) and a conveyor station (14, 16) for conveying the flattened lumps on an outbound route, from the entrance of the said conveyor station (14, 16) located near the flattening station (20) to the intermediate point, through a rolling station for rolling the flattened lumps, and a return route, through a shaping station (44) for shaping the rolled lumps by stretching, from the said intermediate point to the exit of the transfer station near the said entrance. It comprises also, positioned near the intermediate point, an active transfer station (46) for actively transferring the rolled lumps from the outbound route to the return route.

Cette façonneuse de pâtons comporte une station de laminage (20) de pâtons et une station de convoyage (14, 16) des pâtons laminés selon un trajet aller, de l'entrée de ladite station de convoyage (14, 16) située en regard de la station de laminage (20) jusqu'à un point intermédiaire, à travers une station de roulage des pâtons laminés, et un trajet retour, à travers une station de façonnage (44) des pâtons roulés par allongement de ces derniers, dudit point intermédiaire jusqu'à la sortie de la station de transfert située à proximité de ladite entrée. Elle comporte en outre, disposée au voisinage du point intermédiaire, une station (46) de transfert actif des pâtons roulés du trajet aller vers le trajet retour.
