ABSTRACT A method and apparatus for surface treatment of articles which in- cludes an elongated cage which has open sides so that particulate material from an air blast cleaner may enter and leave the cage. Articles to be cleaned are aligned with, and placed in the cage, and displaced from one end to the other while the cage is rotated and particulate material impinges on the surfaces of the articles to clean them.
