ABSTRACT A machine arrangement which is attachable to a driving vehicle is provided for making tracks or for levelling surfaces for use as cross-country ski trails or downhill ski slopes. The machine arrangement comprises a ski arrangement having at least one flat or rollable front support, at least one flat or rollable rear support, at least one front and one rear ski and at least one cutting device for furrowing or pulverizing snow, positioned between the front and rear supports. The track- making or levelling apparatus is positioned in front of the driving vehicle, is vertically movable or adjustable in relation to the driving vehicle and in relation to the cutting device. The apparatus comprises a frame to which the cutting device is attached. The front and rear supports are connected to bearing surface elements by hinged joints.
