ABSTRACT MACHINE DISHWASHING PROCESS A machine dishwashing process characterized in that a highly concentrated aqueous cleaning formulation is sprayed onto at least partially soiled articles and, after a contact time, the cleaning formulation and soil are removed in one or more subsequent stages is disclosed. A dishwashing machine characterized in that it is adapted to effect such a process is also disclosed. Improved results, for example as regards starch and stain removal, may be obtained by application of the present process.
