MACHINE FOR CUTTING LATERAL FINS ON A HEAT EXCHANGER ELEMENT OF RECTANGULAR CROSS SECTION Abstract A machine for cutting lateral fins on a heat exchanger element of rectangular cross section has two tool heads mounted on a bed for synchronous ro- tation, their drives for imparting main cutting move- ment being connected to a main electric motor. A cut- ting tool is secured on each tool head perpendicular- ly to its axis whereas a control unit for control- ling operation of the machine is connected to a drive for adjusting movement of each tool head and includes a cam pusher capable of translational move- ment along guides, and operatively connected to a drive for imparting translational movement to the element.
