ABSTRACT The machine has a conical guide and support head (34) which is mounted slideably on the mount (20) and which comprises at least one hook (42) equipped with two mutually opposite catching slots (52, 54) allowing the hook (42) to occupy two catching positions, in the first of which the head (34) is secured to a sliding frame (36) displaceable by means of the said sliding carriage (28), and in the second of which the head (34) is secured to the front end of the mount (20).
