The invention concerns a machine (18) for making a continuous wall in the ground comprising a rear part (28) including means (46) for filling with concrete the portion of trench at the rear of the machine, a front part (26) including cutting means (20) for producing a portion of trench in front of the machine; and means (60, 62) for modifying the distance between said front and rear parts along a horizontal direction. The machine is characterized in that said cutting means comprise vertical guide means (28), at least one rotary cutter (20) whereof the axis of rotation is horizontal and parallel to the width of the trench and means (22) for moving said cutter along the guide means between a lower position corresponding to the base of the trench and a higher position above the trench, said cutter being adapted to cut the ground of the trench and mix it to obtain a material in pasty state.
La machine (18) pour la réalisation d'une paroi continue dans le sol comprend une partie arrière (28) comportant des moyens (46) pour remplir de béton la portion de tranchée disposée à l'arrière de la machine, une partie avant (26) comportant des moyens de coupe (20) pour réaliser une portion de tranchée en avant de la machine ; et des moyens (60, 62) pour modifier la distance entre lesdites parties avant et arrière selon une direction horizontale. La machine se caractérise en ce que lesdits moyens de coupe comprennent des moyens de guidage vertical (29), au moins une fraise rotative (20) dont l'axe de rotation est horizontal et parallèle à la largeur de la tranchée et des moyens (22) pour déplacer ladite fraise le long des moyens de guidage entre une position inférieure correspondant au fond de la tranchée et une positon supérieure disposée au-dessus de la tranchée, ladite fraise étant apte à découper le sol de la tranchée et à le malaxer pour obtenir un matériau à l'état pâteux.
