Prior ice cream cone baking machines were manually raised and lowered, causing the cone to be sometimes over--cooked or burnt. The present invention automatically raises the upper cooking plate (34, 36) after a preset cooking time, and maintains the baked cake at a warm temperature until removed from the lower cooking plate (38, 40).

Dans l'état actuel de la technique, on soulève et on abaisse à la main les machines de cuisson de cornets de crème glacée, ce qui provoque parfois la cuisson excessive ou la brûlure du cornet. L'invention permet de soulever automatiquement la plaque de cuisson supérieure (34, 36) après une durée de cuisson prédéterminée et de maintenir le cornet cuit sous température chaude jusqu'à ce qu'on l'enlève de la plaque de cuisson inférieure (38, 40).
