ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Machine for shredding waste This invention relates to a machine for shredding waste, comprising a base (1), a shredder body (10) bearing counter-blades (16) and mounted on the base (1), and a rotor (8) bearing cutting blades and mounted for rotation within the body (10). The technical problem is to reduce the overall size and to facilitate cleaning and maintenance of the machine. According to the invention, the body (10) is mounted for rotation relative to the base about the rotor axis (7) so as to present the bottom of the shredder body (10) for access. Application to machines for shredding residues of plastics material. - Figure 1 -
