ABSTRACT A slicing machine is provided which is particularly useful for slicing salmon. Circular blades are provided which rotate about a station- ary sun wheel in planetary fashion. Abutment plates are adapted to be ad- justed relative to the circular blades and rotate therewith. A circular supporting portion, provided with reinforcing fins and covering the surface of the rotating circular blades, is adapted to rotate together with the abutment plates in a horizontally unchanging position.
