ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A machine for spreading granular and powdered mater- ial, more particularly micro-granular materials, the said mach- ine comprising a storage tank equipped with outlet apertures, with cam-wheels adapted to be driven by a drive-shaft at a con- trollable rate of rotation, for the purpose of metering the material emerging from the said outlet apertures into pipelines connected to a blower and fitted with outflow orifices, and with bottom plates located underneath the said cam wheels. In order to achieve metered discharge, even of materials which tend to clog the cam-wheels, means 20,30,32 are provided for cleaning the said cam wheels. These means engage in indenta- tions 21 between the cams 23 arranged one behind the other on cam wheels 11, as seen in the direction of rotation and are designed to scrape out the said indentations.
